The third of four Origins of Jazz III The Jazz Singer series shows had the big Carman Community Room crowd toe-tapping and smiling widely the afternoon of Sunday, March 18.

Vocalist Julie Falatico and pianist Rick Montalbano had the jazz fans under their spell.

Here's a video of the pair combining for the song "A Cockeyed Optimist."  (You can find a whole array of videos shot around the LPL, including a big batch of concert songs, neatly broken into categories for your ease of viewing on our YouTube Channel.)

The final installment of the Winter series will feature Kristen Tegtmeyer backed by the main duo from E.S.P., John Magnante on guitar and Matthew Vacanti on bass, at 2 p.m. Sunday, April April 15, in the CCR.

The series is made possible by a NYS Council of the Arts Decentralization Grant and presented in partnership with the Liverpool Is the Place Committee.
