We’re happy to offer a variety of study rooms and meeting spaces — all free to use and easy to reserve. Rooms may be reserved ahead of time or are available on a first come, first served basis. Whether you’re working solo or collaborating with a group, we’ve got a space that fits your needs.

Take advantage of our free Wi-Fi by bringing your own laptop, or borrow a Chromebook from the Information Desk.

Study Rooms can be reserved in 1- or 2-hour blocks, for up to 4 hours per day, once per week per patron.
Here’s a quick look at the spaces available:

  • Study Room 1
A cozy room with a table, three chairs, and a large window — perfect for quiet reading or focused work.

  • Study Rooms 2 & 3
Smaller rooms with a table and two chairs — ideal for one-on-one studying or tutoring.

  • Collaborate @ LPL

Host Your Next Community Meeting at LPL

Looking for a space to bring people together? When they're not being used for library programs, the Carman Community Room and the Sargent Room are available — free of charge — for use by local groups, agencies, and community organizations.

We’re proud to offer these rooms as part of our commitment to learning, connection, and civic engagement.

Things to Know Before You Book

To help keep our spaces welcoming and accessible to all, here are a few guidelines:

  • Please take a moment to review our Meeting Room Policy before submitting a reservation request.

  • Meeting rooms are only for public, community-focused events — they’re not available for personal gatherings like birthday parties, showers, or family reunions.

  • Events must be free and open to the public. Groups may not limit attendance.

  • You can book a room up to one month in advance, with a limit of one reservation per group per month.

  • No fees, donations, or sales are allowed during meetings.

  • A media projection system is available. You’re welcome to connect your own device, but please note: library staff may not be available to help with setup, especially on evenings or weekends.

  • Library programs always take priority. If there’s a scheduling conflict, we may need to cancel outside reservations with at least 30 days’ notice.

How to Reserve a Room

Meeting room requests go through a quick staff review process. You’ll usually hear back within 72 hours with a confirmation or follow-up.
