Teen Volunteer Opportunities
Are you a teen interested in volunteering?
The library has a monthly Teen Volunteers meetup held from October-April for current and future teen volunteers. There will be a different volunteer activity each meeting, and volunteers will learn about upcoming opportunities to assist the Liverpool community and the library. Check the online events calendar and/or Program Guide for the next meetup.
Liverpool High School Government Student Teen Volunteers
Liverpool Public Library partners with the Liverpool Central School District to provide high school students volunteer hours for their graduation requirement.
All government students seeking required hours must:
- Be a Liverpool resident in 12th grade
- Submit a Volunteer Application
- Attend at least one Teen Volunteers meetup for training
Summer Teen Volunteers
Liverpool Public Library seeks teen program assistance during the summer months. We are flexible to work with your schedule. An orientation is held in June.
Summer Teen Volunteers are:
- Able to independently follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable and committed
- Pleased to work in a team environment under the supervision of library staff
- Age:13 years and over
Summer Teen Volunteers must:
- Submit a Volunteer Application
- Attend the orientation held in June
