Children and Teens Summer Reading Clubs |
|
At Liverpool Library this summer, you'll find computers, crafts, great
programs, and best of all, the Summer Reading Clubs. Whatever your age,
we have a club for you!
Sign up at the library or online.
Be Creative @ Your Library: Children's Summer Reading Club for toddlers to 6th graders.
Read and log your books, then stop in at the library beginning June 29
for a weekly prize. Instructions, weekly reading logs, and reading
calendar are available online or at the library.
Express Yourself @ Your Library: Teen Summer Reading Club for 7th-12th graders
Teens may log the books they read during the summer and stop in at the
library to pick up weekly prizes and tickets for a weekly drawing for a
$25 gift certificate to Carousel Mall.

Look for the Liverpool Public Library Van at Onondaga Lake Park |
|
 The Liverpool Public Library van and staff will be at various locations in the Onondaga Lake Park this summer. Stop by our van and see what the Liverpool Public Library has to offer its patrons. We'll be more than happy to talk with you. We will also be issuing new library cards that will be activated within 24 hrs. (Please be sure to have proper I.D.) and those who have cards with them will be able to check out 2 items. Staff will be bringing a wide selection of materials appropriate to the event and location.

Civil War Veterans Honored |
 Reenactors from the 122nd Volunteer Infantry will be at the Liverpool Cemetery on Thursday, July 9 (July 16 rain date) at 6 p.m. They will discuss the life of a civil war soldier including demonstrations. The Liverpool Cemetery is located on North Tulip St. in the Village of Liverpool.

Liverpool Art Center Student Exhibit |
Liverpool Art Center will exhibit student artwork in the lobby during the month of July. View acrylics, watercolor, pastels, and mixed media during regular library hours.
On July 16th from 5-7 p.m., there will be a free reception to honor these students at the Liverpool Art Center, 101 Lake Drive, Liverpool. The public is invited to come and enjoy refreshments and new artwork.

Join the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra's String Quartet for an interactive performance on Saturday, July 18th at 1 p.m. in the Carman Community Room. This family concert will feature a musical telling of the popular children's book, "Mole Music."
