We are not accepting book donations at this time.

Here is the updated book donations list for OCPL as of Aug. 27, 2021:

Baldwinsville Public Library – no donations at this time

Community Library of DeWitt & Jamesville – no donations until after Labor Day

East Syracuse Free Library – no donations at this time

Fayetteville Free Library – accepting 1 box at a time

Fairmount Community Library – no donations at this time

LaFayette Public Library – yes but with limitations, please call

Manlius Library – 2 bags/boxes per visit with limitations. Call for more info.

Marcellus Free Library - no donations at this time

Maxwell Memorial Library – 1 box/bag per visit, no textbooks/encyclopedias/Readers Digest, nothing in poor condition (smelly, moldy)

Minoa Library - We are taking donations. We accept fiction, current non-fiction, cookbooks, and kids books, as well as DVD's and Blu-ray. We do not accept textbooks or anything in poor condition.

Onondaga Free Library - not at this time

Salina Library – no donations at this time

Skaneateles Library – no donations at this time.

Solvay Public Library - accepting small numbers of books and DVDs. All donations need to be in good condition, and we do not accept magazines, National Geographics, textbooks or Readers Digest condensed books.

Tully Free Library – no donations at this time

The Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library are accepting donations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. People with four or fewer boxes can drop in. Those with five or more boxes should call 607-272-2223 or email to make an appointment. The Friends of the Library Book Sale is located at the Regina C. Lennox Building, 509 Esty Street, Ithaca.

Many non-profit organizations are not accepting book donations at this time.

However, the Goodwill Thrift Stores at 422 Onondaga Blvd. and 3511 Brewerton Road are accepting donations. Some but not all of the Rescue Mission Thrifty Shopper locations also are accepting book donations.
