Why Not Join Us for Some Virtual National Library Week Fun?
The folks at the American Library Association scrambled just a bit to make their theme for National Library Week 2020 appropriate.
When the Coronavirus emergency forced libraries to close our doors, logos were altered.
Find Your Place at the Library no longer fit. Find Your Library at Home, though, yes. Yes, indeed. That premise is what library staffers are hoping community members have been doing since the bulk of everybody’s time is most safely spent within those walls.
National Library Week 2020 starts Sunday, April 19, and runs through Saturday, April 25. Librarians and others who connect the dots for the LPL”s commitments to patrons have worked hard to formulate a plan that hopefully patrons of all ages will find fun to invest their creative energies into.
Creations can be shared on our LPL social media platforms. Staffers will have their creations displayed on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram, too. The idea is to pick, choose and share the wonders of connection.
Go to our page devoted to the week to see the plan, day-by day, to help formulate your strategies.

Of most importance: Have fun!
