We're Thankful for You, Our Patrons
On Thursdays in November, we've used our social media to express our thanks to people special around here.
We hope you've seen the Thankful Thursdays feature on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as we've wound our way toward the big finale for Thanksgiving.
I wrote this week's community column for Eagle News Online and Star Review about it.
You can read the column here:
We’ve been taking Thursdays in November to give our thanks to the people who make things special at the Liverpool Public Library.
If you follow us on our social media, you may have seen our Thankful Thursday posts so far this month, with shout-outs and of gratitude with photographs of staff members in all the departments that allow us to serve you in the manner that you deserve and expect.
If not, we do hope you take the chance to look us up on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram so you can receive our posts about our events, services and people that make your library vital to the community. You can find the links to our links on our social media web page.
On Nov. 4, the hard workers in circulation, collections, and tech services and acquisitions were featured. On Nov. 11, the light was shined on community engagement, children and family services, teen and adult programming and communications. On Nov. 18, thanks went to computer services, custodial and security, business office and management.
On this week that we celebrate Thanksgiving, each and every member of all of these departments send our gratitude to you. Yes, this final edition of Thankful Thursdays has been reserved to the people who really make the LPL special every day of the year:
Happy Thankful Thursday to the members of the Liverpool community!
