Stock Up for the Holidays and Yourself at Our November Book Sale

It's a great time of year to know that you're checking folks off that holiday gift list.

We're holding the November edition of our Book Sale from  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, in the Carman Community Room. Yes, you'll find books, DVDs and CDs of many varieties for adults and children donated and culled from out collections sitting on tables and waiting to fill your holiday needs or to be placed on your own self-fulfillment shelves.

I wrote my community column for this week's Eagle News Online about the event.

Please wear a mask when you visit our sale Saturday or Sunday.

Stock up for upcoming holiday gift-giving.

Fill up those empty spaces on your shelves.

Treat your family members. Go ahead, treat yourself.

Here comes the second edition of the Liverpool Public Library Bag Sale in the Carman Community Room. Donated and culled-from-our-collections books, DVDs and CDs will be available at the price of $5 per provided grocery-sized bag or $20 for five bags.

The sale will run in the Carman Community Room from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 and 7.

Do not fear supply chain difficulties. You’ll find books for adults and children, fiction and nonfiction as well as a variety of DVDs and CDs.

LPL staffers will control Carman room attendance capacity and flow. Please listen to their direction. Masks must be worn by all.

In another exciting chapter to the sale, book lovers can make it a two-fer. Baldwinsville Public Library will also be holding a book sale in its community room the same weekend. Times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Their prices will be half-off on Sunday. They will accept cash or check. It’s an easy trip to visit both libraries in one drive. Baldwinsville Public Library is located at 33 E. Genesee St. in the Village of Baldwinsville.
