Study Women's Suffrage with a Deep Focus at LPL's 'Let's Talk About It' Series
A new series at the LPL is about to launch a serious study into the subject of Women's Suffrage.
Tom Henry will preside over Let's Talk About It: Women's Suffrage, which the popular community educator will start with an introductory session at 6 p.m. Monday, April 4, in the Sargent Meeting Room.
Sessions will follow at 6 p.m. the Thursdays of April 21, May 12 and 26, and June 9 and 23. Participants are asked to be able to attend all sessions and register here.
The LPL is the only library in the state and one of 25 nationwide to receive a grant from the American Library Association and National Endowment for the Humanities to present the program.
Henry's view on how he'll present the series is the topic for this week's community library column for the Eagle News Online and Star Review. You can read the column here.
