It's Time for Chess to Become King (and Queen) Again at the LPL

by Mark Bialczak | 50 days ago

Well-known Central New York chess enthusiast Mike Miller is bringing his knowledge of the game back to the Liverpool Public Library.

Miller, a lifetime member of the United State Chess Federation, will help moderate the meeting of the Chess Club from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, in the Carman Community Room.

That begins a stream of monthly Monday meetings that continues Nov. 15 and Dec. 20.

I wrote this week's community column for the Eagle News Online and Star Review about chess and other table games available at various events at the LPL.

You can read it on Eagle News Online here.
