Celebrate Earth Day 2022 with the LPL

It's always a good day to be nice to our planet.

The focus intensifies in April.

This week's community library column reminds all about the LPL's event the day after Earth Day and shines a light on Citizen Science Month, too.

You may see it on Eagle News Online.

Be nice to our Earth.

 You can read it here:

The theme for Earth Day 2022 is Invest in Our Planet.

“It’s the only home we have,” planet lovers so simply state at earthday.org. “We need everyone, while there is still time.”

The Liverpool Public Library will help community members take action on Saturday, April 23, with a team that will gather at 10 a.m. to participate in the Earth Day Clean Up with the Onondaga Lake Conservation Corps.

The LPL team will help with the clean up around Onondaga Lake for approximately two hours, at a location that will be assigned by the Conservation Corps. Register here. Staffer Cindy Hibbert will email registrants with the location to meet after that’s determined by the Onondaga Lake Conservation Corps.
