Assemblywoman Pamela J. Hunter Reads to the Children

It was a special moment around the LPL2Go Book Bike Cart when the clock struck noon on Thursday, Aug. 5.

The children, families and caretakers gathered around in the shady spot near Wegmans Playground for this weekly edition of Picnics at the Park got to hear Assemblywoman Pamela J. Hunter read The Magical Yet by Angela DiTerlizzi.

(Hunter shares the delight of reading.)

I wrote a column about it for this week's community Eagle News.

Hunter said she makes certain to read to children whenever offered the opportunity. She hopes the love of words spreads, like it did for her.
