Laptop the Letter Cat Explains Letters
At first I thought all I needed to know about the alphabet was which letters are best for use for taking naps .
"A," for example, is too pointy on the top, but there is that nice little shelf in the middle, just right for a snooze. "B" is all right too, but I could never really get very comfortable in "C."
Later, though, I found out that letters can be lined up to make WORDS. Nice useful words, like "BED." I've been sleeping better ever since.
It's important to know that letters have different shapes, and that letters are different from each other. Point out letters on signs, cereal boxes, and around the house. Help your children identify the first letter in their names. Soon they will know letter names and sounds and will recognize letters everywhere.
