Who is Blarney, you might ask?
I am Blarney Killarney from the grand clan of Killarney Leprechauns.
A wee bit of Irish magic an' grand ol' fashioned Irish luck landed me in the Liverpool Public Library. Why might a leprechaun end up so far from Ireland? 'Tis a true tale that I tell. I was out for a stroll among the heather, when I happened along a couple of tourists. Now I have a little hobby of climbing into the backpacks of tourists because you never know what kind of interesting reading materials they might have, and I love to read. 'Twas so nice and warm inside the backpack that I found meself drifting off to sleep. Now, leprechauns do not sleep often, but when they gets their mind set to sleeping they can sleep for days. One minute I was reading snug in the tourist's backpack, and next thing I know I'm tucked away inside the pages of a book on a sale shelf inside a library lobby. To awake surrounded by books! What glorious fortune! 'Twas no small bit o' magic there. I no longer have to sneak into the backpacks of tourists. I have many lifetimes of reading materials here. I looked around for the best place to build my home, and noticed several nice young lassies above me, new friends, books from floor to ceiling-- what better place to call home?!

Thank ye children fo' all o' your lett'rs. I had a grand week. I sat in o' the toddler storytime n' watched the Girl Scouts have fun with a scavenger hunt.
With the teen luau comin' up in a couple o' days I be gettin' me Hawaiian shirt ready.

Jaida, I be 3 1/2 inches tall and am 131 years old. I loves the color green so I wear a lot of green clothing. Yes, I be your friend. Thank ye for the lov'ly color'd drawing. Fourth grade sounds like fun.

Michael, I be in me hou' at diff'rent times of the day. Som'times I take tea with me forest pals or the American Girl dolls. When the weather is esp'cially nice, I be out walkin' around the library grounds.
Carina, I clean me hous' quite often. Ye may have notic'd that me furniture moves around a bit. I mov'd some of it just last week. Thank ye for noticin' how clean me hous' is. I take great pride in it.

'ello me friends! I 'ope ye all liked me Valentine wishes for ye. I had fun doing them.
I be out explorin' the library shelves yest'rday and found a nice comfy spot amon' the picture books to take a wee bit of a nap. What joy 'twas to fall asleep amon' some of me fav'rite books. After me nap I tidied up me hous' and enjoy'd a nice cup of dew drop tea. I added som' berries to it to make it rather tasty.
Abby, me gold coins be hidden away in secret magical spots. That way they be safe and keep their magic.
