Welcome to Liverpool Public Library
Bubble Games on the Lawn
All Ages Welcome
Wednesday, June 29, 3-4pm
Library Lawn - No registration required for outside!
Fun with bubbles, including a chance to compete in the bubble olympics.
Through August 28.
Library Director Glenna Wisniewski encourages the folks she sees around the LPL and the Liverpool community to complete five simple tasks a week to become more fit, feel healthier ... and win prizes, too.
Each week begins with the goal of walking 60 minutes and ends with the bonus step of adding another hour of walking time. In between are steps such as Have a meatless day or relax at the Adult Coloring Program (July 16 at 1 pm).
Participants who complete a week can bring the checklist to the LPL adult info desk to receive a raffle ticket and a prize. All the raffle tickets collected by Sept. 3 will be eligible for a drawing for big prizes, with sponsorship by Wegmans.
One-on-one job resource assistance is now available at the Liverpool Library! Receive personalized help with job searching, resume writing, interviewing, and more. Appointments are available during the day from Monday through Friday and on Tuesday evenings.
Please call 457-0310 x132 to register or for more information.
