Welcome to Liverpool Public Library
Pokémon Go Safari Returns!
Thursdays, September 29; October 13 & 27
Onondaga Lake Park, Liverpool near the Griffin Visitor Center and Wegmans Playground
Libary staff will set off lures used in the popular mobile game, and pilot the park's pair of McKie Sports seven-person conference bikes for hatching and catching.
Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with as many laps pedaled as possible. Others can hunt Pokémon together around the buildings near the park's main entrance. For newbies, staff with knowledge of the game will be glad to explain rules to anyone who want to get with the program.
Snoopy says: Get a Library Card in September!
Snoopy is the national spokesperson for National Library Card Sign Up Month this year. Anyone that signs up for a new library card in September gets entered to win a family fun basket.
