The library is a site for the NYS Dept. of Tax and Finance's Facilitated Self-Assisted Tax Preparation.
February 16 through April 15
Mondays from 3-7pm, Tuesdays 6-8pm, and Fridays from 3-5pm
If your income is below $60,000, you can come to the library and e-file your federal and state returns for free. Someone from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance will be on hand to answer questions and help guide you through the filing process using one of their computers.
Appointments are required. Check our event calendar for available times.

A fun and relaxed environment where people of all skill levels are welcome. Learn tips for knitting and crocheting or to share projects you are working on. Please bring your own supplies.
Skype with Dolph Gundman
Thursday, April 23 • 7pm
Carman Community Room
Author Dolph Grundman will present a program based on his book Dolph Schayes and the Rise of Professional Basketball via Skype.
Gundman's book chronicles the life and basketball career of Schayes as well as the revolutionary changes that were occurring in professional basketball at the time. Books will be available for purchase following the program.
This program is rescheduled from February 19 date that was cancelled due to bad weather.

Use science, technology, and art to create!
Designed for everyone: adults, teens, and children! Supplies and tools (both hand and technological) will be available to assist in scientific discovery, artistic expression, and experimentation. Use recycled materials to construct something new, learn how to use a technology you aren't familiar with, and conduct experiments. Let your mind run amok! Free, no registration is necessary.
