Lend a helping paw! There will be a collection barrel for canned dog and cat food, toys, cleaning supplies - especially laundry detergent - and used, clean towels, sheets, blankets & comforters. Library Card Initiative And Operation SAFE CHILD IDs

Children 5 and older can get their first library card and a special gift.
The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office will be making Operation SAFE CHILD cards for children (up to age 18 accompanied by their parent or guardian.) The cards are free and take about two minutes to make.
Operation SAFE CHILD provides parents or legal guardians with a wallet-size card that includes their child's/children vital information: date of birth, gender, height, weight, eye color, along with a photograph and fingerprint images of both index fingers.
Drop In Tech Time
If you're having a problem with technology, then we have good news for you: in addition to being available for help on an appointment basis, our tech guru Mr G is available on a regular basis for drop-in help on a first-come, first-served basis on the following dates from 2-5pm:

JD & The Wandering Klezmorim

Syracuse's homegrown klezmer ensemble will perform ancient dance music of the Bohemian shetl.
JD & The Wandering Klezmorim includes bandleader/keyboardist Jonathan Dinkin, vocalist Aveeya Dinkin, trombonist Ryan Zawel, accordionist Bob Alexander, clarinetist Ken Frieden, and trumpeter Ethan Urtz.
Firing the Food Police: A Happier Relationship with Food

Nicole Christina, psychotherapist and mindful eating instructor, describes healthy relationships with food and how to better understand your body cues when it comes to eating. Free, no registration is required, but space is limited.
