Fall Concert Series - Silverwood Clarinet Choir

The Fall Concert Series: From Gershwin to the Everly Brothers kicks off with the Silverwood Clarinet Choir.
The ensemble consists of Eb soprano clarinets, Bb clarinets, alto clarinet, basset horn, bass clarinets, contrabass, and contralto clarinets. The ensemble will perform light classics and popular works including Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue."
New Library Director Announced
Following a nationwide search, the Liverpool Public Library Board of Trustees has selected Dan W. Golden to the position of Library Director effective October 6, 2014.
The library will host a welcome reception on a future date to give the public a chance to meet Dan and welcome him back to the community.
Board President Tim Dodge stated, "The trustees and I are very pleased and excited to welcome Dan Golden as the next director of the Liverpool Public Library. He brings a depth of experience, energy and enthusiasm to the position that will serve our patrons and employees well. We look forward to working with him to ensure that Liverpool remains the best library in Onondaga County."
